Steven Simeoni is the Principal Director of Tas City Building and a highly respected leader in Tasmania’s construction industry. With over 30 years of experience, an Advanced Diploma of Construction Management, and an Open Builder’s Licence – Unrestricted, Steven brings deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and hands-on leadership to every project.
His diverse construction background spans wharfs, bridges, hospitals, nursing homes, schools, and underground mining, along with a strong focus on inner-city residential and mixed-use developments. Steven has a proven track record of delivering complex, high-value projects on time and on budget—without ever compromising quality.
Two standout projects in his career include the $15 million Petuna Aquaculture hatchery project incorporating a state-of-the-art recirculation system and the $14 million Launceston Airport upgrade, both of which showcase his ability to lead large, technically demanding builds with precision and accountability.
Steven is particularly passionate about cost-efficient construction solutions. He applies his extensive experience to reduce costs through smart planning, innovative building techniques, and resource efficiency—ensuring that clients receive the best possible value while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety.
